Ahhhh… at the
beach at Cancun, first time back in over 15 years! Beautiful beaches, cool breeze off the sea,
great pools and a relaxing time for mixed drinks in the bar in the pool. What a difference from the cold spring in
Michigan! I almost feel sorry for the
people back at the office that have to work this week. Notice I said “almost.”
The first day was very windy here and the sea was a too rough for swimming, but our pool wasn't and there is nothing like having piña coladas in the pool bar (Adrian had virgin piña coladas) to compensate for body surfing.
I have an assignment from a coworker to send him pictures of beach bunnies. I won’t mention any complete names to protect the identity of the requester but one can call him Fred R and he works in the Troy office.

I’m sorry to
report Fred, that although Adrian and I have been diligent in our search up and down the beach in
front of our hotel and the beach in front of other hotels, we even looked around
and in the pools of several hotels near ours and all I have been able to see are some Iguanas
in the most unlikely places.
These iguanas are about two feet long and look very interesting and tasty! I get these visions of them on my BBQ grill with some garlic-butter sauce and a little salt and pepper. I bet they taste like chicken. Mmmmmm-good! But Adrian and I still continue to search under the few bushes and little mounds of sand for your elusive beach bunnies, but all I have been able to see is a bunch of callipygian-sonsie beach combers playing in the sand and always getting in the way.

There seems
to be an implicit competition among the women to wear bathing suits that cover
the least amount of skin – what’s with that?
Don’t they know the dangers of skin cancer? There are a few men showing off more gut than
they should with their skimpy speedos – a must-miss sight! There are also many women who passed their
peak in their quest for a perfect body and have extra skin being squeezed over
their bikini straps and bottoms – eeewwww!
And, like always, there are those who should not be in a bathing suit, a
beach moo-moo maybe, but never in any bathing suit. Talking about that, and to avoid embarrassment
to my son and to keep people from thinking or talking about me like I am them,
I make sure a wear a loose t-shirt on the beach and in the water. Sure wish these callipygian women would quit
walking by me – they get in the way of my view and they are distracting from
the natural beauty of the beach.
Well, the
sun is getting to hot and I have end my quest for the beach bunnies and get
back in the shade by the pool. Sorry
Fred, I tried and tired but never was able to find your beach bunnies. Maybe I’ll go out and look closer to sunset –
they could come out only in the cool of the day.
Oh WOW! This is truly margaritaville! I love margaritaville and I love margaritas. Signing off so we can go to dinner – sorry Fred, couldn't find beach bunnies today. Maybe tomorrow.
It's funny how beach bunnies always get in the way of your shots =)
